Flamingo1986 (Zachary Rich) presents "Present Prank", a short animation starring Pinkie Pie from the hit TV series, "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".

Howdy Everypony! ^^

Here's my very first official animation to come out of my training here at the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). Being a fan of the new "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" series, I decided to create a puppet of Pinkie Pie (my favorite pony) in Flash and animate her in a little short.

This was originally created as a three-part assignment for my "2D Character I" class here at SCAD. The .FLA file for the puppet rig will be uploaded soon for those of you who would like to use the rig for your own pony animations. I'll also be uploading a tutorial on how to properly use it as well.

This took me 130 hours from start to finish (40 hours to build the puppet, 80 hours to animate it, and 10 hours for post-production editing).

Dang, was the animation good in this! I was impressed at how beautiful it was. I didn't think the cartoon was that great though. It didn't give me much of a laugh. I still liked how it had no dialogue. You could show a lot with the emotions there.

Gummy's pretty cute. Was the title a pun? I guess it was just alliteration. I feel bad for Pinkie Pie. I'm a huge brony.

This is really cute! Well done!

aww Gummy!!! So adowable

why wasn't she just hanging out with her friends?

Gotta love it...
Fav. character BTW
