i like the base ,a liitle short
maybe you can remake this by having take a 180 look across a desolate valley
with flashbacks of it being a vast wilderness

A man wanders the woods of his planet contemplating the planets his race left behind in order to keep moving forward. The duality of existence.
This had quite the emotional backdrop.
Not to mention an interesting style of animation.
I liked the animation, flowed great and the music went well with what you made. The story and emotional feeling part, i didn't feel it entirely, though i understood it. I kind of expected it to continue a little longer after the quote used, but it simply ended, but that isn't necessarily bad.
And this is just me nit picking, but adding a replay button helps greatly.
That was a great short. Beautiful art and animation; however, it was extremely short. I was expecting a little more. Maybe that was your point, but I would love to see something like this just longer.
