Ah, the suspense that was the teaser trailer for Beneath the Sheets 2. I remember it well, with all of the shit - use a Thesaurus, to come up with other synonyms, for the love of god! Okay, my Thesaurus doesn't have an entry for shit, so try my own abridged version:

Shit - Crap, poop, turd, faeces, skidmark, dump and so forth.

Right, the quality is a little low, but I'm sure that's down to filesize restrictions and YouTube or other specialist video hosting site would be better for this. I'd love to see medals again, but it's not really possible with teaser trailers, though it has been done before. Something like a tag for candid camera, when Nick is driving, for example.

Why were the shorts that disgusting? I'm not sure I really want to know, but I needed some filler text to make this review look worthwhile and meaningful. I certainly agree with your policy of resubmitting all of your old works, since we need to keep reviewing these, to make up the old deficit to my review and responses score that you caused all of that time ago. I'm not bitter, honest.

Looking forward to the real thing... Oh, wait.

I think it's a good idea to re-upload your old movies. I found them all to be very entertaining and what can be better for an amateur filmer than to present his work to a borad audience?

I just don't see the point in uploading previews if the movies are already done and being uploaded. A preview is there to get people hyped up on an upcoming movie, but if the movie is already out, then there's no use in uploading previews, in my opinion.

Anyway, I think the preview is done quite well. Unlinke previous reviewers I liked the transitions between the movie scenes and I also liked the title cards. The text was easy to read and it told us what the movie will be about. That's about everything I expect from a preview. ^^

Not the best preview

Probably not the best preview or piece I've seen you do on here. I think instead of using the music you have for the text parts you could have tried using a darker tone and theme too. I think something else that could have been changed was the part where it said "June 2009", kind of just lets people know this was an old project you never got finished with until recently.

As for editing I think the transitions could have been smoother or even better instead of a black background you could have had the text over the area except change the part from normal to inverted to give it a somewhat scary feel to the piece.

I did find it at the end to be funny at least "And of course....." "shit", "shit".... That was kind of funny anyways. I think the size is small so you could have done much more with this preview in term of how you presented and tried something better then text to video to text at least.

Overall, I would simply suggest working on editing skills for previews, aside from that, not too bad.

Not so good

I don't think this is a great advertisement for your game. It is very short, even for a trailer. It just feels like you hardly spent time on this.

The quality isn't too good. You'll want the movie to be of great quality if you submit it to newgrounds. Either the camera isn't good, or you compressed it a lot.

I also thought it was a bit weird that you put this in the comedy section. I don't think you wanted to be funny with this. It seems more like an action movie.

I'll give you a two for effort. The environment you chose is good, and things like the remote laying next to his bed make the movie more complete. But this isn't entertaining, not convincing to watch the final movie, or thrilling.

I am an editor. So That is what I'm going to comment on. The editing was dry. Maybe you could have had some quick flashes? Is it supposed to be a horror film? I'm not sure with the trailer. Beef it up a bit. Don't give anything away for obvious reasons. But give us more of what the film will be. Also I hope you are using a better camera to film with.
