For the record, yes, the short description does sound stupid. OK? Don't gimme a low score just for THAT.

My first entry to Newgrounds. Yay.

Anyways, this is basically an edited opening and closing to "Trial of a Time Lord" I made with Videopad and Audacity. Thanks to YouTube user "timelord726" (http://www.youtube.com/t imelord726) for the opening and closing.

Video Effects: Negative, Crop, Edge Detection
Audio Effects: Change Pitch (with Audacity)

PS: This is supposed to be named "Doctor Who - Trial of a Time Lord 1985 Opening and Closing Credits (Scary Pencil Jelly Version)".
PPS: Sorry for the low quality.
PPPS: It loops forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever... you get the point.
PPPPS: I know it says "PART ZERO" at the end of the opening. That's because it's already over. Duh!

Baby steps

Calm down guys. Everyone has to start somewhere.

That said, you don't have to publish everything you do, and this is probably not the place to share this sort of work. People complain about dressup games getting uploaded, but at least it's an original work that exercises basic Flash skills AND can get people engaged.

Keep working on stuff, and when you've got something that's more your own, come back and share it.

HUNT3Rdotme responds:

Actually, I made the video using VideoPad Video Editor and converted it to an SWF file.

I don't have.... any experience with Flash.... at all.

As much as I like Doctor Who...

You have to do more than that. All you did was take the video and run a filter. The NG submit page says: "You may parody existing Flash submissions, but you must use your own artwork and not rip another author's art." So, yeah. You need to do your own work. If you just modify someone else's stuff, it'll get blammed or flagged. :\

:)

HUNT3Rdotme responds:

... Good point ..........

Needs some improvement.

All it needs are a plot and less screechy soundtrack. What is it about anyway and why are credits without a plot?It is not really that bad in terms of the animation method you used, just work more on the other areas and it will turn out much better and maybe use different soundtracks each time so it would not sound as though it is repeating.

HUNT3Rdotme responds:

First off, the "screechy soundtrack" you were referring to was an issue with converting the audio to MP3. The software I used caused some distortion. However, it kinda helped with the "Scary" part of the title.
Second, the plot is basically nothing; it's not for some fan episode; it's just the name for the video and my name and the credits are just....... uhm....... honestly, I just did it to fit with the title sequence.
Finally, I used VideoPad Video Editor to do the whole thing.
