unbalanced, still buggy piece of shite, i love this game but it's so broken still, does it take 100 years to fix a simple bug? LOL
It's a fun game, but I am having trouble with using the in-training items.
I remember playing this back when I was 9 (I found this in Kizi during Flash era). I'm glad I was able to finish it again. I'm still working on post-game to max out my monster though.
A lot of classic features like the shop have been rendered kinda useless. This became a problem on certain websites after a certain period, especially when flash got removed. Maybe this game could do with a steam release and it can operate out of a functional engine. Maybe we'll be able to play as all the other monsters as opposed to just the five. Who knows?
Edit:
The defense training is kind of annoying. You have to click just as the game starts from you typing to register which may result in an unfair result of 11 rock(s).
Also, if you click too early on the intelligence training, the game soft locks. Resetting the page puts the game back in order but its still inconvenient and unsatisfying.
I'd also add that speed training should grant a bit more initial speed. It's all too easy to jump into the pit if you don't jump off the very tippy-toe edge of the cliff.
I talk a lot of guff about this game, but I do enjoy it a lot. It looks lovely and the combat system a very satisfying and interesting alternative to turn-based combat. This is the game Monster Rancher 2 should have been.
