I'm thoroughly upset this is one of the only platformers that was around at the time, and that the 2 levels it has were actually kinda fun...

Me and Gary (from EyeHeartBoobs.com, check it out) have been working on this for a month or so. I did the programming and some test phase art, and he provided the idea, and the base game plan. I ommitted features because I am only allowed to submit a small taste of what is to come.
You play a priest. Basically your main goal is to rub little boys. This sample plays much like Super Mario Brothers 2 as of now(it was the original game basis) But will be changed to fit the games needs.
The engine in this game is awsome, it is very dynamic and it only takes a few minutes to design a level. The Sample level is probably about 1/5 the size the regular levels, and only features some stuff we took from SMB2 ;)
Things Im allowed to let you do:
Jump on Cops.
Climb.
Grab Boys.
Grab Bibles.
Fall out of the level(sorta).
We need ideas on enemys, Levels, and bosses. Be reasonable though.

I wish this would have gotten better than 24th for the week though...
Super Mario Bros 2 is a video game made for the classic NES. You can see its influence in this game. The graphics are colorful and vivid. The grabbing mechanic work well enough. It could use more content and goals to accomplish to improve.
Not a terrible idea here, funny even, but this doesn't seem finished enough to warrant any higher score than this. The movement was mostly fine, maybe a little sensitive and unpolished, but it definitely worked. The grab mechanic was interesting, much better than just bumping into things to pick them up. However, the cops only occasionally damaged you. I could walk into them several times and have nothing happen.
Overall, good game, but still needs quite a bit of work.

Great game and excellent graphics.
Just one thing I noticed, is that you only get hurt by a cop once a level. So it is impossible to die if you only lose half a heart. But other than that, it was great.
