An animation about trees. Hope this opened your minds on what we are (or those illgal loggers) doing right now. Even lots of trees keeps growing everyday, more trees are cutted than those who live.

sure man!

Like what?

Do something? Like what? Embrace nature and live in caves, eat vegetables and not harm a poor animal because heaven forbid we get hungry and want something to eat. You know your clothes are made of cotton that is a plant, the paper you write on, even the rubber on tires are made from some sort of plant. And animals eat one another all the freaking time...

So what do you expect us to do? Recede into becoming neanderthals? Running about in the nude being "one with nature"?

Hmm.

I applaud you for the work you put into the animation, and there certainly were some good humor points/visuals in there. However, the overall message fell flat - rather than just telling people to "do something", you could, for instance, give people examples of things that they can DO. People are usually aware that broad issues (hunger, poverty, pollution, war, natural disasters, etc.) exist, but are more often than not at a loss as to WHAT they can do to help. Perhaps you could include a link or something at the end to a cause that actually helps with your message?

Story-wise, I feel like you could have gone somewhere with the apple tree sprout, or created a little more of a narrative - unfortunately, I didn't feel emotionally drawn into the animation as the only "character" to feel a connection with was the anthropomorphized tree, but she was already traumatized when nature took its course and her fruit was harvested by the "evil"-looking bird...who was then shot down, but I didn't feel bad about it because it looked evil to begin with and stole the "baby" from its mother.

In other words, I felt like the message got a little unfocused/lost in the telling, and so it lost me on any emotional level. Result: I didn't care as much about the message, which seemed to be the point of the animation.

On another note, the perpetually happy tree that watched the female tree lose her fruit and die WHILE SMILING THE WHOLE TIME was a little creepy in a good way.

thanks for the review! I'm very sorry for some wrong backgrounds, I'll promise next time that I'm gonna do better. :(

nice

It did have it's funny parts, thats for sure. I don't know all the details about whats going on currently, but it's still nice to have a little reminder about things, ya know.

It's nice you care . . .

But, actually, we aren't having problems with lumber in the US, or trouble with loggers because of all the restrictions put into place by the Endangered Animal and Wildlife protection bill. Truth is, we have more trees than in 1860, and the rainforests are thicker than ever.
I couldn't even watch the whole thing. I'm sorry.. what a load of lies and crap this is.
If you do some research into the "Cause" you seem to be so passionate about, you'd actually see you're wrong about so much.

guildsa654 responds:

oops, I don't know that law because here, in Philippines, Lots and lots of trees are cutted even though we have a law on that. There's so many Illegal Loggers here in philippines. (sorry for bad grammar) :(
