Yep, I'm still new to the whole drawing/animating thing.

EDIT: For those of you wondering about the short length, I did this as a class project and recently decided to add sound and music to it, so sorry about the length.

lols, but not good enough

Nice little clip, but too little. It last little more than a couple of seconds, and there's no way of going back to look over it again (really, I tried everything except refresh, what code did you put in there???) I know you're a beginner, but here are a couple (actually a lot of things) you can improve to help with your animation.
1. Dont be disappointed by the low score. Its actually pretty good.
2. You definitely could have done more with this. I know you don't have the skills to be messing around with all kinds of stuff, but in the interest of time, you could have drawn out the summoning sequence and what happened before to get a lot more suspense in. I can imagine 30s, or even 1min with this.
3. You have to experiment with your mouse and the pencil, I saw a lot of lines and circles but no free hand. It looks odd. You should also experiment with the brush too, it works better in places.
4. The atmosphere could have been done better, it should have been dark, stormy, windy, etc. The background is a little bright for this purpose, and the music (although its good), is more foresty than dark magicy.
I should really commend you on the idea, it was ingenious. I mean, why are people always summoning giant monsters when they could summon pizza instead? Or money? Or both??? It seems pointless, so good for thinking that.

Thanks for the input, I made this as a class project so forgive the length and lack of detail.

The idea came to me as a "hey what if there was a complicated ritual to something silly?" kind of idea. The music and the background were due to the silliness, but now that you mention it, a darker background would add to the effect.

Not bad :)

For saying you're new, I think the animating wasn't half bad. I like the music and actually had a nice chuckle at the end. Some length could help of course, but you could get away with it in this video. You do need a replay button though, and possibly something to look at in the end other than a black "The End" screen. Keep at it :)

Oh wow.

That...Was...The most epic thing...I have ever seen!!

It's not bad, but it's way too short.

It's decent, but there's so much missing, that it's a real hard vote to allow it to stay on here. :\

This animation is a fragment. It's a piece of what could eventually be turned into a movie, but for now, it's nothing more than a part or a bit.

The problem is not if it's bad, but rather if it's good. When it's bad, it gets a low score and gets blammed and is forgotten and gone. Done.

If it's a 'good' piece, then people get confused and may pass it. The problem is that then we've got a fragment of a piece of a bit of a flash floating around newgrounds forever, and what's the point of that? That's not what Newgrounds is about.

This isn't bad. It may pass, and thus, it'll forever be an unfinished fragment floating around here.

It's not bad. Just, please send thru completed items. :)
