Hmmmm

I liked it. Your effort is clear and the story is simple and easy to follow.

a bit of criticism: Work on your timing some. Vary the speed of your movements. this is a gradual skill you will develop but its best if you call attention to it now. Observe the way a person actually walks. The way they move their arms. The varying speed of their legs.

I suggest doing a few drop tests (sack, leaf, brick) or a ball bounce test to better your skills. Just youtube search these things.

For these tests I also suggest you dont bother coloring them. I know it sounds silly but not adding color will help you focus on the lesson you are attempting to teach yourself.

You nailed story though. Telling a clear story is one of the hardest aspects of animation. Watching an emerging animator is one of the greatest joys of this site. Keep up the good work.

UhLaiJah responds:

Thanks man I will try that! :D

First time animation? No wai

For a first flash, this is amazing. Sure, it lags a bit between tweens, but the animations are still fluid.

I can't wait until your second flash video :D

UhLaiJah responds:

Thankz! :D

"Good animation and random ideas"

To be honest you have good animation but your ideas should be more on focused than random. Start out with a good script.

UhLaiJah responds:

Yah it was a bit random, simply because it was just a assignment and I had limited time to put my ideas together. Thanks though!

Great SFX

I found it quite amusing. The animation is fairly simple but it works. I love the sound effects. The pogo stick sound makes me laugh.

UhLaiJah responds:

Thanks a bunch!
