As an effect it's not bad but, to make such a post entertaining to those who didn't read the description, I would use .swf to make it so they can move where the lightning strikes by clicking... If I knew how to use .swf that is.

I've never done FX before so it's very interesting. I''m having a lot of issues with rendering my pieces to upload as well as rendering just as an .swf that doesn't look like complete poo...

Try to make an actual movie with a good storyline next time. This movie is just a striking lightning with no backgrounds which was not good enough to get anything higher than 2 stars in my book.
That doesn't belong here.
That was a way cool lighning effect, but it doesn't belong in the portal. It's not really a complete project of anything. I think you should have uploaded it to dumping grounds and then linked to it in a personal art thread in the forum.
