This show is themed around the lives of some emancipated slaves in the Antebellum South, and out of context it might not be that clear, but the dynamic between this little boy, named Leviticus and this character named Dana, is that Levi is a little brat who loves to antagonize and bedevil Dana, and then always feign innocemce in the presence of his mother. I wanted to go with the whole "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" feel and set their world on a real plantation, so I went on a photo shoot at a Georgia plantation for the backgrounds. I animated the entire test myself.
