What utsavman means is that even though the king has one eye, he is in the land of the blind, so he is also blind. He is just a blind man with one eye.

Everyone is looking at their sticks. Interpretation: The sticks are that persons life and it helps guide them as well. Everyone in the land of the blind is focused on their own life not being able to look at the things around them. The one eyed king on the other hand is not focused on his stick and instead throws it away. Meaning he sees himself as superior to all those below. But in the end he too is just like everyone else obsessed with his own life. He also dies because he throws away his life. Then the next blind man picks up the crown. Before he was just the same as everyone else. Now he has the crown and becomes the one eyed man. And who there can say that he isn't king? The only distinguishing figure is the crown which he possesses. So in this sense anyone can tell everyone that I am king. Therefore everyone can become king. And based on this logic in the land of the blind everyone is king and no one is fit to rule. Everyone naturally will give power to their leader regardless of his success or not since everyone is blind and therefore naturally trusting. Well that is as much as I can get from thinking about it for a couple minutes and I'm tired so goodnight.

This makes sence and i like what you said to utsavman because your right everyone is the same just because it is said someone has certain power, they only really have an illusion of power and everyone listens because they are "king"...or thats what i got from it

Me being an undiagnosed aspie with add whose problems range in the too many interpretations to too much impulse to think properly, I would have to REALLY be having an up day to grasp everything taht I am capable of grasping in this.
