sorry man but
your flash are pictures with low resolution pasted in the flash only 3 animation moves and are very easy but your work ist fine kee working try drawn something for you own
A short animation project for a Multimedia class. Very basic learning exercise for the software. This is the first time I've ever tried to animate anything and the first real project for Flash.
The images were all created by me using photos from my time in Iraq.

bluewolfen,
I agree that actual animations would have worked better, or at the very least more use of movement in both the background and the images used. I was intending to use an almost 'shaky-cam' look, but ran into issues getting it to look 'right' with my limited understanding of the program. Instead I went with simple panning in some places and simple movement.
The resolution issues came from rescaling scenes for new ones instead of creating new images for those scenes. If that makes sense!
Thanks for taking the time to respond!
Nice first
+very unique visuals
+great sound
+good choices with the shots/angles
-little complex animation
-maybe you can give more of a setup/story next time
le approve
Thanks Cocoaplata,
The actual animations were something I was close to taking out but decided to just run with it as I had a hard deadline to meet for this project. To refine everything further would have soaked up more time that I was just out of.
More build up would have been nice, and I had some things in mind to help build the scene up more, but again, time was not on my side in this. For a minute long clip (which was the goal), the basics are there for anyone to follow.
Thanks for the +/-. Very succinct and useful!
different
wasn't fantastic but as you say your new to the software and stuff. i liked the style as its different to the norm but it did lack the clarity that drawn animation has. quite pixilated in places
well done tho
Thanks for the response. I fully admit that there were a lot of things that could/should have gone differently with this. It's 100% just a learning video, getting my feet wet and trying to figure a few minor things out.
The style was chosen with zero knowledge of how it would work out in the final piece! I think some of the pixelation issues stem from resizing within the program. The original images were vector based but I created PNG's to use them a touch easier in Flash.
