This video took me approximately two weeks to finish but many many hours and sleepless nights. The story was just made up as I went along..... "I really should consider planning these things out more" haha. It was a fun project and i am happy with how it turned out. My girlfriend Elizabeth Hearlson provided the voice and image for the girl

Poe - etic !

No, I didn't wrote the word wrong, this is intendend, 'cause this flashmovie reminds me a lot of Edgar A. Poe's grotesque tales, especially "the man that was used up" (1839).

Not because of the topic, it's the style you use. I guess Mr. Poe whould have liked it. Even the fact that the girl stays asleep is acceptable in a grotesque tale, my problem is that the storyline is a bit too slow-paced in my eyes, if you could work on that - perfect!

But still, nice work, I hope to see more of it soon :-)

Well I do love Edgar Allen Poe so thank you very much

Those monster things..

Yeah, I'm gonna have nightmares because of those things. xD

I can't really find any fault with the animation per se, I just think you need a bit more practice. The only thing I would critizise would be the plot; who sleeps through having their feet cut and torn off, really? xD Maybe if you provided a visual explanation, or something that would make clear why the girl isn't waking up, screaming in pain and horror?

It was still a very neat animation.

Intense

Like a trip between edward scissor hands...the episode of rubberman from aqua teen hunger force...some odd foot fetish...and a gloomy afternoon in a horrifyingly desolate and lonely park...

Woah O.o

RatiganZombie responds:

haha, thanks for the review..... I appreciate it..... it's always nice to be compared to one of my favorite movies

that was... creepy...

that fully reminded me of the nightmare before christmas.

RatiganZombie responds:

Thank you, I will take that as a great compliment

Wrong Foot!

lol. It's like Saw meets Edward Scissorhands haha we're looking forward to see more of your works. Break a leg!

RatiganZombie responds:

Thank you very much.... Edward scissorhands is a favorite of mine
