"The Book" is an unfinished short story by American horror fiction writer H. P. Lovecraft.
I changed the story, but the main idea is the same: A young man finds an ancient, dangerous book, which can give him power to visit strange dimensions.

About the story: The animation is similiar to the book until he wakes up in the other dimension. After that I changed it, in the book he returns safely to his room.
I'll definitely make more animations based on lovecraft or with a similiar atmosphere. I'm also planning a strange, dark-themed series.
Hi!, It's a really cool story! I love the graphics! It really gives the mood. The blue outline on black backgound you used is really cool too. I think you sould improve the music a little bit. Well, not the music itself, it's really good, but the transition between musics and the abrupt stops of them. That's the only reason I'm not giving you a 5/5. But a really good movie.

The story seemed like it wasn't quite finished, but that's just because it's based on an unfinished short story. It's basic Lovecraft all right, and the gist of the message is "forbidden knowledge will lead to misery", unless I've completely missed the point.
My point is, you made what you set out to do and you did it perfectly.
