Was the five cents you got out of ad revenue worth wrecking your otherwise well-constructed game? How many pennies does it take to make you believe that shoving ads in every five minutes will be a worthwhile venture?
This might get a couple thousand views before disappearing forever. On the high end, how much would you get? Two dollars? Three? Was it worth sacrificing your artistic credibility?
These are not rhetorical questions. I really want to know what is going through your mind on this.
It's bad enough I have to watch ads at the start
Fun, innovative gameplay. Thumping beat. Good upgrade system. All this ruined by the game suddenly pausing and playing an ad. If you had an ad pop up, say, every time you leveled that would be acceptable. Maybe in between every 10 waves. But in the middle of a wave? No. I can forgive a lot of things but an interruption like that is intolerable.
mid-game ads ruin this game
this game was a lot of fun. there's solid gameplay here, cool visuals and great music. but while I found the difficulty was a little steep, that is not what gives this game a 4. the ads placed at certain parts within the game itself, are what bring what would have otherwise been a good game down to a 4 instead of an easy 8-9.
you could change the health/life system a bit, and maybe enlarge the playing field but otherwise im liking it.
