Which communism are you talking about?

Marxist communism or the real one that actually happened? There's a slight difference. But more to the point, I don't think you really know what communism is.

First off, I've only been to Macy's once and briefly at that. But if I'm correct in thinking, they do say different brands of several products yes? If that's the case then different companies are gaining profit from the people that buy different brands of the same product. This allows for private, or individual companies, to compete thus retaining capitalism and defeating the very essence of communism.

I get the joke here though. Macy's is evil and is secretly turning its customers into communists, Germans and Japs and Italians, OH MY! Sadly you fail to explain what is going on and simply let the audience make assumptions. This would be okay if you had the right amount of subtlety to make the viewer question Macy's moral fiber. From my short encounter with one store, I can understand what you're going for somewhat, but the cartoon relies on personal experience. If one had not gone to the store one would not understand at all.
Another problem I have is that you are portraying communism as evil. It is not evil in of it self, but the people who use communism who are evil. (Stalin, Lenin to a lesser degree I think) Don't let American propaganda fool you. Stalin=evil. Communism=... take it or leave it I guess. The importance of it is debatable.

Anywho, you didn't make me laugh so that's why I decided to step in and be of use. I get that sometimes it's better if people keep their mouths shut and just let a joke be funny, disregarding the obvious truth, but if the joke isn't funny then it doesn't matter if I speak or not.

What else...? Not saying I could do better, I can't, but the flash could have been drawn better. Nothin' you could do about that though. Just keep practicing.

The storytelling was the problem. It was crap. What system? Capitalism helping the rise of communism? (Which would be funny.) What the hell is that guy talking about? This is where explanation is needed. Needs alot of work. Hopefully what I said helps a little there.

Sound quality was poor. I barely understood what the character said. I replayed the cartoon a few times to get it all.

Liked the music. It let on a dark mood and was great for telling the story.

Also, xXStaggerXx is right to an extent. I've never heard about the soviets calling social delinquents infidels. I'm not sure what they called them, but I doubt it was infidel. 'Infidel' is a term used to describe an unbeliever or one who lacks faith. In the theoretical communism religion would basically be snuffed out. (I say theoretical because I don't know if religion is present within communist countries in the real world.) In other words, if corporate bosses of Macy's were communist, they would want infidels being themselves infidels.

Hope that helps with future projects.
