You need more frames, ill say it again. MORE FRAMES! And better animation, draw there faces and body's in better detail, (it's not that hard) Then come back and impress me ;)

I can see that Goku is getting rained on, but with no background as to why he was knocked out, I don't see much point to the flash.

There is a background, and it is Gohan, I can draw an awesome Goku. Gohan dies and then Trunks freaks out and goes SSJ.

Because you asked for it, I'll try.
You'll probably want to have more frames of rain so it's clear that it is rain (and not white lines)... you'll want something longer... you should try having more realistic heads. To start maybe try something simple like the Pico heads over the vote buttons. Right now Trunks's face is too far forward on his strange oval head. Oh, here's something... give your characters shoulders. The arms will look better for it.
