First of all, a friendly MERRY CHRISTMAS to all you viewers. Right now it is 12:42 AM Dec 26; I finished this movie yesterday or more appropriately, 10 hours ago. I celebrated and partied hard, featuring the Philippines' (in?)famous Red Horse beer! Just a couple of cans can give you a whole keg's worth of intoxication. No shit! So . . . . cheers! And the food is too good too! Glazed ham, salads, cakes, a helluva lot of softdrinks, sumptuous porridge and cheese ball (queso de bola) OOOH! I just simply love this season. . . . .for the food. XD

"Japan" is not a nation here... this is an alternate universe; i just find "home defense" hinomaru insigna particularly fitting to the "Aegean" aircraft.

that was where i got the "templates" for the aircraft. so at least spare the comments board of the usual "USA won" and "Jap aircraft sux" and comments of the same nature. come on, the war is over, I am just fond of Japanese aircraft.

I am hoping that speaking my native tongue would "diversify" the background of the characters; Tagalog is spoken at parts of the movie.

a bit of trivia here. did you know that "boondocks" came from tagalog "bundok"? apparently the "colonizers" from USA after the Spanish-American war of 1898 took it to mean what it means in tagalog - "bundok" means mountains or a wild, untamed region. boondocks means almost the same.

Now, I shall quit with rambling on and on and enjoy the movie.

Oh by the way, the "radio-fied effects" (the voice and audio sounds like the lows and highs cut and the mids boosted; like an old transistor radio) are intended.
