Two Guys and a Girl

I made this for my Digital Animation Course at Thames Valley University. I had one month to do it and we were given the tracks from 'Le Carnaval des Animaux' (The Carnival of the Animals) to use, I chose 'Final'. I need to improve my drawing skills but this is the first animation I have made by hand that is over 1 minute.

I decided to submit it here even though it might not be newgrounds material, at least it's an animation. I know I will get more reviews here than on youtube. I will definitely submit more flash movies eventually but I am still trying to learn. I know the animation has some rushed parts but I hope you like it.

why not let black haired guy have a happy ending too?

Not your fault

Not your fault you had to have these tracks, but I effing hate The Carnival of The Animals. But still, awesome video.

I didn't mind the tracks to begin with, but after hearing it over and over again while making this to make sure everything fitted well it became annoying, it was fun to work with though.

Beast

Nice dude very well done! I cant wait for a colored piece with dialog XD

ch33ks responds:

lol thanks.

Trio?

If you want a happy ending, you should make a threesome. Why not?

The music and the intro was very cute.

Nice!

I smiled at the music, I remember the track used in Disney's Fantasia, with a whole lotta pink flamingos but I digress...

Animation seemed to fade in and out at times, for example when the light haired guy was chasing the dark haired man into the bar. Was that intentional?

The plot was cute but not entirely clear. The two guys were arch enemies? Another reason why I give an 8 is because of the depiction of the 'age old' way of trying to attract a mate...

ch33ks responds:

Yep they were enemies, or "rivals". The idea was to show the light haired one shaking his fist to show that he's angry then chasing him, but I used the "fade in" trick because I wanted it to be clear that it was a new scene, otherwise it looked a bit weird and I would need to draw more frames. Thanks for the review.
