I yearned for random balls of random speeds fired with no association to my current situation. This could be used to subsidize for a difficulty loss if you slow down the rate of speed increase/ cap speed rate.
Also, something along the lines of this could be used to improve in game variety.
Variance among ball size, speed, damage.
40% variance among balls total potency at point in game
Average potency rises as game time progresses.
Arcing (Ultra High speed balls), spiraling (Ultra High damage balls), splitting (Ultra high size balls, But they appear smaller then they should, and then split into several balls that may have not been able to fit in the original,) etc Perks assigned to balls based on their stats ( OR PURE RANDOM. )
Experiment with graphics, spells. Try a directional shield that's low energy/ Replaces god power currently in play. I can only touch the tip of the ice berg.
