Pretty good

I saw this over at Spritas already, but it's nice to see it again and able to give a review for it.

The battles are pretty cool and I like the direction where it's going, but there were seemed to be a lot of small awkward pauses between many of the actions that sort of threw off the flow of the movie.

Also you should probably stream the music instead of putting it on event, or if you are, put a stop all sound at the end so the music doesn't just keep playing when the flash is over and back at the preloader. The file size is just way too large.

My fault...

I don't know anything about animation with sprites, so I can never tell how much is the animator's good work and how much, if any, is just the sprites, especially with characters who already have all those motions animated. Anyway, this seems just fine to me. I would add a "To Be Continued..." though.

Short

The animation was pretty good. But, I found it to be way to short to be considered a "Part 1" when you say 2 will take awhile.

Hence the 8/10.

Make it longer, and worth while to want to watch art 2.

Negatives
Length- Way to short this isn't even a part if it is it may take 20 parts to get a descent size video (hyperbole)
Personalities- Shadow is not the type that would use crude statements like "WHAT TH-" or "What's up with you?!?!" As for Mario i doubt he'd attack someone for no reason
Plot- Its to short to see any other plot other than Shadow looking for the Chaos emeralds and seems some what lacking
Background Music- I do like the music the loading screen but there no music in the actual Flash
Positives
Animation- Very well done smooth, and linked
Sounds Effects- Right on cue no delay at all

All and all it looks like a good flash but u need to work on it to take out the flaws so keep up the good work

Side note- If you name its Shadow vs Chaos i was expecting to see Chaos not Mario
