Start by practicing your drawing for a long time, and also learn how to come up with proper storylines. If you fail at drawing continuously, I'd suggest starting to use sprites.

Oh, and the storyline isn't mandatory if it's just a small thing, but at least have it make some sense. "Oh Sonic's just riding on his bard and gets shot in the heart BUT WAIT he doesn't die and he goes and chases Knuckles down who's apparently smoking weed and lol his board's sharp enough to cut Knuckles' head off which then spwes blood and what looks like feces all over while unfitting music plays"
