All of the glaring issues aside, this was probably pretty cool back in 2002. Unfortunately it does not hold up too well. It's nice to see that level 2 was indeed released.

Remember the first level?
Well now its back! In flash! This is my first platform game. This means it took me a really long time to make. And that means i have high expectations for it.
If the game is a success, meaning it will get somewhere in newgrounds, i will make the second level. If not, i wont. It's all up to you.
The second level will include:
New weapons
Powering up your weapon
New terrain
New, harder, enemies
Better Gameplay
But for now, enjoy the game!

If the game runs slow - toggle your quality to the appropriate level (right click, quality) - close all of your shit(even other NG windows), besides the game.
UPDATE: for those of you complaining that you cant beat the boss. you cant. you cant in this game nor in the original. as my megaman x series continue - you will eventually kill him. not in this level though
An okay recreation of the first level of the MegaMan X game, but there were a few issues that made it worse than it could've been. The graphics, sounds, and control, all seemed to be fine, but the falling platforms fell way too fast. You would need to spam the jump button to get onto the next safe spot. All the enemies also only took one shot to beat. I would mention that this is really short, but you came out with a second one, so I won't penalize you for it.
