sooooooooooooooooooooooo chezzy, it suck****
UPDATE: I fixed the problem with the flash not updating.
I left the music playing though the credits because I didn't have any ideas for a credits song. The song playing through the fight is from Melty Blood, Aoko's theme. I chose that because choosing a battle song was a lot harder than I thought, so I picked it as I happened to be listening to it at the time. Doesn't fit much, but hey, it's better than nothing. Feels a little loud too.
For my comments on the fight, well I will definitely not be doing another aerial part if it's just between any grounded characters. Mario is obviously stronger than some random hammer bro out there which is why it doesn't take many hits to beat it as opposed to everything it threw at Mario.
I will probably not be doing a style that's very aerial at all in the future.
It runs at 30fps and has a total of exactly 2800 frames. 1:33

Pretty sweet
I told you this would skyrocket in votes...
All you gotta do is get more creative and do something different.
You already know I like the choice in battle music.
Only thing about is that you need to learn to compress the music and loop it so that it wont take up so much space.
Those MP3's made the loading time shoot threw the roof.
But good job Jason, keep it up.
Not bad animation. But..
Don't get me wrong, I like good sprite animation as much as the next guy, but I give this vid a low score not just cuz of the lack of music and sound, but really, it just looks like you're ripping off AlvinEarthworm's Super Mario Bros Z series.
Quite frankly, I believe you could do a better job that that if you actually try. The Dragonball z-esque fighting style has been done to death. Surely you can come up with something that has a bit more creativity to it. You've got the tools, so go for it, man.
Besides these nit picks, the animation isn't too bad. A bit more work in some areas, and perhaps a reason for the random fight, and you'd have yourself a decent flash movie.
From the looks of it, it seems you were just experimenting, but I could just be wrong. In any case, I do wish you luck in any future submissions you happen to share with us.
Peace.
awesome animations!
im sure you'll add sound to it later. but those animations like that explosion at the end looked really good. the fighting actions were pretty cool too!
