really neat

loved river raid on c64. this is pretty much an emulated version of river raid but someone took a big shit on it and now its brown. "Asteroid Raid" would have been a ton better provided it was more of a reimagining of RR then a carbon copy with asteroids and like no color. seriously i didn't like the art style.

I played the original on the commodore 64

It was called river raid and it was in color. Other than changing the setting to space, it's pretty much the same thing. Almost as good as the original, but loses some points because there's nothing new to it.

Fun, good design

I really like the black and white design and the music is also pretty good. It's got some action and overall i think it's a fun game.

I give you minus one star because this game reminds me of the first game in Action 52 (a really bad NES game). The other one is for some areas that have poor level design. For example, if you go to the menu and select level 3 it starts immediately next to a rock. This also reminds me of action 52 :/ Other than that it's great!
