A quick and dirty prototype for a future project. Just a simple catch game with local highscores. Feel free to comment and criticize.
Instructions: Move the mouse cursor to control your orange circle. Catch the arrows.
Update:
- Added ability to change your name.
- Balancing changes. It should now be really challenging to stay alive from level 10 and onwards.
- Didn't yet figure out how to get my external preloader to work on Newgrounds, so there are no sounds or fancy graphics.

Hey dude, I would like to see more than just catching arrows with a orange circle. I played the game not only once but two times :D (I wanted to beat my first score - I scored 297) This game is not that bad in fact I like it a bit. Pretty simple yet not all that. But pretty good basic game. Nice idea dude & good work.

Simplistic, but a good start. :-)
Alright, obviously there's not much to this game right now, and for it to be truly special, it's going to need that... but what you have right now's not too bad, and it was certainly engaging enough to get me started playing for a bit, as it happens. :-)
Keep improving on the concept, and it'll be interesting to see what you come up with!

It's simple, well made, and challenging (I only got 203 points). It definitely has potential to be built upon.
Thanks for the comment! After some code-cleaning I'll start polishing the prototype a bit, so there will be a few updates. After all there won't be any additions to THIS game, but it will serve as a basis for a more interesting (IMO) approach to the catch game concept.
