This game is based on an old anime series, Hokuto no Ken. Mankind has destroyed the planet in a nuclear war, but there were some survivors. Kenshiro (the main character) is the successor of the deadly martial art, Hokuto Shinken.%uFEFF He can destroy a persons body by pressing certain power points. This is why the bad guys explode when you punch them.

You should add sound and make the game a little faster though.

I love the sweet old-school look. This one totally goes to all the old-school 80s game fans, I salute you my friend, in that respect.
Some 8bit music and sfx would definitely add a nice touch, but since its silent I would blast some kick ass music while playing this.
Oldschool Anime, Oldschool Gameplay
Wow. Hokuto no Ken is old. And this game plays like it. I only did the first level, since I suck at games, but this really captures a retro vibe, for all it's worth.
It's kinda sad this doesn't have any sound, though.
Kenshiro is the anime version of Chuck Norris, all is said. I love how you kept the story detail about heads and bodies exploding.
