Pretty good
I found it entertaining and pissingly challenging.
Also, I just made up the word "pissingly". So extra point for that inspiration.
My first flash game. I'm pretty happy.
This is only a demo, however. My partner and I have been working hard for the past month and we would like to see what the community thinks of our ideal.
Everything in the flash was drawn in paint due to me starting the art a long time ago when I didn't have flash, so if you don't like pixil graphics then you might want to try out a different game. There will be loads more features in the release such as more powers, 8 levels with bosses, and all out wars between every enemy on screen so look forward to that.
Anyway, enjoy this short demo and be sure to leave a comment telling us what you think.

Could use work
Like stated before I also kinda rushed in not knowing how to attack. When I did button mash to discover the attack I noticed there is a really long delay between hitting the button and actually attacking, which made attacking kinda futile at points. Basic concept is not bad, but you need to work on that timing.
not awful
no menu or options. i rushed in and couldnt figure how to attack before i lost interest at the first boss dude. it looks ok, i understand its demo, and the boss fight did some crazy stuff - fun stuff. try converting to flash.
I liked
the game very much.
The only thing is like if you hold the arrow keys for to long they get jammed :c
But it even though with its flaws its a good game.
Interesting side scroller, could use more speed
Not a bad looking or sounding game. The controls work well, and the look reminds me of a classic NES side-scroller with less pixelation.
I think the game could benefit from a bit faster movement, both walking and jumping. As it is you're kind of trudging along, and the jumps are a bit floaty. Also, minor suggestion, but it'd be good to make the characters clickable on the character select screen. I definitely went to click on their pictures before clicking on their text names.
