your first flash eh, well, that was a very good one, instructions are very clear, a good setup and animations are good too, and your drawing isn't worth to complain. though maybe you still want to improve your skills, you made a very good start, but perhaps the amount of spaceships might be too large for some. but still. well done.

Not bad for a first game

Gameplay is okay.
Needs sound track.
More variety in enemies
Better graphics (there are gobs of open license free sprites and textures out on the net)
larger viewing area. For the size of your ship and the speed of the enemies there's not a lot of room between seeing an enemy on screen and having time to dodge it.
Better movement. The ship suddenly rotates 90 degrees, so if I'm barely dodging an enemy horizontally and I need to turn vertically my ship's now collided with the one I'm dodging because it's sprite overlaps when I change direction that close to an enemy.

Good first try

Great game for your first one. Actually gets pretty hard avoiding all those ships.
