A suggestion?
I enjoyed the game and honestly the music didn't bother me at all, but I tend to drown out things like that anyway. The one big thing I noticed during game play was the 'cheap zones' as I'd call them. If you put your ship at the top of the screen or at the bottom (all the way) you'll almost never have to deal with anything getting in your way. At the top sometimes you might have to deal with a silver ship but at the bottom just about nothing dips down that low. While as a player its nice in a way, at the same time it also took away dramatically from the challenge of the game for me. The only time I took hits was for my own stupid mistakes in trying to dive down to grab power ups quick. Maybe stick something in these top or bottom areas to keep players from staying there the whole game? I found that especially when you get the "shoot the heavens" of "shoot to hell" there's no reason at all to ever come down from a spot on the top of the screen as long as you hang back (to the left of the screen) and hold down the space bar to have a constant stream of fire. Unless this design was intentional, then please ignore this comment. haha. I'm not going to knock on the graphics as you all ready said you're planning on redoing them.
