This was made for a Media Study assignment at the University at Buffalo in 2009. We were asked to modify an existing webpage with Flash. It was one of my first attempts at using Flash and we weren't expected to do anything too elaborate, so it's pretty basic.

There's meaning behind the concept, but I'm not upset if it's taken at face value as a simple little toy.

Please appreciate my acknowledgement of how simple it is when you're rating it. I'd just prefer not to be embarrassed by having this not make the cut when I don't think it's offensively bad or broken.

Thanks! Hope everyone enjoys fooling around with it for a minute or so.

Edit: Forgot I didn't use default resolution, fixed it!

Meh

It's a nice toy.

My guess is that the meaning behind the concept is something about the nations presented. Maybe about xenophobia. It's too abstract to form an opinon.

did anyone else try to make a tune/song with the different notes?

I think it ought to go to a bunch of fake wikipedia pages that give totally bogus data under some inputs. Or actual pages as they were at times. I'll never forget the day I looked up Lithuania and it began with "Lithuania sucks fuck them".

But then I'm a bit cynical. And it doesn't need to conform to my twisted whims.

Knowledge is a great game!

I mean that I love how you put the bass on the right and treble on the right!Sorry.Band nerd talk.I really couldn't resist this time. :)
