As I was trying to learn AS I tried to make something that wasn't " just another shooter" so I had the idea to add something (whether art or sound) and it became this mish mash of everything. It's short. but it was a great learning experience

I like it (I don't know why the others don't). All it needs is some sweet random music!

I thought the music would cover up the sounds to much and I couldn't really find anything that went a long with the theme. I found some 'out there music' but I wasn't sure if a lot of people would like it, so I left it out.

im a fan of randomness, and side scrollers like this and putting them together is genius, perhaps a sequel with colour scheme other then black and white please.

Arrow keys move you around.
Space bar shoots.
The Pythagorean theorem is a random power up. It will give you health, a shield/foot or kill everything on screen.
