Bite sized game
Rather enjoyed it despite the minor bug. Like the music too.

AA Mania is a simple game in wich you shoot planes out of the air.
For each plane you shoot you receive money, with this money you buy upgrades to enhance your AA gun.
Controls:
move the aa gun with te directional keys and shoot using the spacebar.
I made this game for fun and to learn more about Actionscript and Flash.

I agree completely with mongo1984. The programming was probably hard (I don't know because I don't have flash), but the output could have been better.
Needs work
For starters, the game gets really boring really quick. The gameplay is repetitive, the speed of the bullets is aggravating half the time, and the soundtrack doesn't really help. Polish it up a bit, and it could be fun.
Some bugs.
The gun doesn't even respond to the arrow keys until you click on it or something. It was a bit difficult, not really recommended until improvements are made (no offense). But seeing how you made it for experience, I'll slide with a 6.

I fully understand your review, but as I am new to as3 and game design i figured keeping it easy would be the best thing. Because otherwise I would get bored and frustrated and never finish the game....
