Eh.
This feels and plays like an R-type clone, but doesn't really have the support of interesting levels, enemies, and power-ups that R-Type had- in other words, the things that made it fun.
This isn't bad, exactly, it just doesn't live up to what it's based one, and there are better versions, with more interesting gimmicks, easily available.
Even worse, without any sort of score keeping (my meter read "NAN"), this becomes even more of a time waster than it already is, seeing how there's not even the false, pointless thrill of "competing" against other people's skills.
Concerning actual gameplay: If the powerups are random, cut out the extra lives at the very least, and make them drop either much more rarely or only from one or two specific enemies per level. As it stands, even if the score meter worked, it would be pointless, as a player's run would only end when they got bored and quit.
Like I did while fighting the third boss, the fight against which I entered with nine lieves left, and got him to about one-third HP without losing one.
Eh. It isn't bad, as I said, just... eh. Not worth my, or anyone's, time.
Just another shmup
Just another shmup, it's just another shmup. You shoot shoot shoot and things blow up.
Interesting...
Although the music is repetitive & annoying, the game is good. The style has been done a lot before but how you implemented the secondary weapon, defensive mode & super weapon system was what I liked the best.I gave this game a 3
