Fred's Freaky Soundboard

Share Collapse

Author Comments

I created this soundboard for the local morning show in St. Louis, "Woody and Rizzuto".

Fred comes in every Tuesday to read craigslist ads for their "Freak of the Week" Segment. This soundboard has their favorite clips from the segments.

It's nothing special. Just an old man saying weird things.

RIP Fred T. you were the best at this humor. Deadpan straight and getting this stuff on-air for all of us to laugh at was a real treat. Then LXQJ took to matching these up with G-Man etc. pics and then it multiplied over many times.

I *THINK* that Rizz is still doing the Freak of the Week even today a couple years after Fred passed. Given enough time, I think anyone can pull the deadpan attitude and read these things as Fred did, even if the voice isn't ever gonna be the same.

And Chris, without you keeping whatever readings were available without the music around, that hilarity would never have happened. Thank you for your godly work in immortalizing Fred's comedic gold.

very funny

is there any way to download these sounds?

chrisjulian0 responds:

There isn't a way to download the sound individually at the moment. But you can listen to the Freak of the Week segments at 1057thepoint.com. Those are pretty funny.

I laughed soda out my nose!

Kudos!! Bags of Kudos! You make me laugh, thank You!

The only thing i can say to it's negative is that some of the source (Like three of them) the quality wasn't so great.. But I could use this, and use it well..

Hello Wallmart?

chrisjulian0 responds:

This soundboard is constantly updated. We'll work on getting better audio.

Thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed it.
