It functioned. But really it was just another click crap until you get out escape game. To which you may say, yes but there were puzzles. And they all have puzzles. I think calling this a 'game for smart people' really brings into question what you consider smart.
The game itself (as many of these generated environments do) felt dead and stale. And in the style of the classic click till your finger is sore escape games, the puzzles were kind of lame. The rooms lacked dimension (what were they three sided?). "Find items, combine them..." There was no item combining. At least not in the classical sence of combining items in the inventory, you only ever had to combine items with the environment.
I'll give it 3/10 because it functioned, but like most of these games it lacked real thought into the process and was a mish-mash of puzzles and click click click.
