Simple
I like the concept of the game, the controls were unresponsive to sluggish at times, and the sound effects were a bit too loud to start.
Sidenote. On one of my play throughs I hit a shuriken and couldn't eat anything for the level due to it being stuck.

The graphics are pretty crude, but your sense of humor is spot-on. Good choice for in-game music, too.
Fun and simple
But I do wish that once I lost all my lives-I could just restart rather than watching the whole level play out. Good job-it was enjoyable.

Controls aren't to responsive. By that I mean it seems the player "floats" up or down. I was expecting them (it) to be a little more fast paced. Other than that I liked It.
