Yeah, thats a fail.

Well, ok, it needs work. The controls take forever to respond, the sound sucks and the graphics were ok. Build from the base up. Start with the controls, make 'em smooth and responsive, then work on the graphics to make it look good. The sound needs a serious overhaul. The gun firing sounded like little kids playing with toy guns. Don't be afriad to ask for help. The fact that you got this up here at all is note worthy. Newgrounds has a huge base to help guys like you out, take a peek in the forums and ask for some help in the programing, and audio-visual departments. There are lots of sound effect websites out there, it may take time to find what you need but you'll get better responses to your efforts for your time spent looking at what is out there.

Now, I put this in most of my reviews, but don't get discouraged because of bad reviews. If you can't take negitive critism then don't do the work. You get the potential to do it well, so take heart and give it another go. Take your time, you got all the time in the world to do it right.

Not that good

I was expecting Bulldogs in Bi-planes.

There were a few fun moments, but for the most part this is too sluggish and very bland. You need some better controls that won't mess up like these do. Don't use Space bar; Flash messes it up.

Keep trying, though.

Good Game

I think these types of games are awesome, but I have a few suggestions.
-these games are fun for me becauseit challenges you to avoid the opposing fire while shooting, but because the enemy fire is so fast it impedes the skill games like this demand.
-Im not a big fan of HP for games like this, but that is by all means a very biased thought, I usually prefer a one hit your dead or max 3 hits with lives
-power ups

Good Concept

The game has a good concept, but needs more things like:

1) instructions - Games need instructions for people to play, it is frustrating to have to find out how everything works and after the player gets the basic keys, there is no knowing if there are special keys that need to be pressed at certain times.

2) Auto-shoot - The game's auto-shoot only works while the plane is stationary, if you move the plane while holding the "space" key, the auto-shoot stops and you have to press the space again to shoot again. Almost defeats the purpose of auto-shoot.

3) Upgrades and power-ups - The game would be much better and would get a better score if it had power-ups and upgrades between missions.
