Needs work
I like the fast that it's a fast-paced vertical shooter, very different from the normal ones where you can easily expect them to fly into your shots and destroy every single enemy. However, it's much TOO fast I think in most respects.
There needs to also be some sort of visual and/or audio feedback when you get hit, and perhaps when you are hit, and when you kill an enemy. Things like that help the player keep track of information and also lend to immersion.
The key controls aren't bad, and the game has some bugs with sounds it seems. Iron things out and polish the game stylistically and thematically, and you'll make a big leap towards making it a great game.
