This is just a demo to see if I'm doing anything wrong. Just play the game and I'm welcome to all forms of constructive criticism. I need your input in order to make this a good game and possibly a successful series. So, enjoy!

cool game

Seems OK - keep up the good work

+3 : not a dress up game
+3 : not a hidden alphabet game
+1 : preloader
+1 : music not a monotonous cycle

E : attack system seemed adequate, but results were very inconsistent
E : no menu system - gave it an EVEN as it's a demo

-1 : characters not original - it would be better if you used your own
-1 : artwork borrowed not created

Create (or have someone else create) original characters and storyline. Using original artwork, characters and storyline could lead this to being very successful.

Perhaps variations of toon to use for adventure.

At least consider giving it a NG feel and perhaps have Pico going on a violence spree.

I guess I feel inundated with EGA Sonic spin-offs, and would like to see something different.

Bland

Rpg's are nice, and using pre-made characters is alright. Even crossing dimensions and bringing characters that don't belong is fine. Although giving spells that don't belong to characters seems pointless. Also having magic that deals only damage and deals less than a normal attack is pointless. Having two attacks that do the same thing just with slightly different damages is also very useless. So using just the kick that hits twice is the most powerful idea being it dealt 170 a couple times for me. Each attack needs to be completely different and should have some names that serve a purpose. Spells should be original and not just taken for the sake of having spells. For a demo, you're giving use a demonstration of what the game is. I'll be honest and say do not continue with it unless you're changing the entire thing.

good start...

I really can't think of anything to fix (I.E. no bugs iv'e seen), but if you want your game to go far, don't use the backgrounds you did for the menus (although keep the transparency) don't use a generic font and odd highlighting of the menu buttons, it doesn't stand out as much as you think. and, of course, make sure that in the first level, you explain how to battle, the odds are tipped in the player's favor, and please. A fight over a name? make it original, be creative! storylines, character backgrounds, etc.
