Not good.

This game is very simple. Basically it's a clone of snake. If you improved on the graphics, it would be better. This game also doesn't have any music or sound, which would be nice. This is a bad game and you have a lot of work to do to make this game a good one. For the programming, that's the only thing i can say about this game is good.

Clone of a well known game

A snake clone with choppy animation and a bland pallet offering nothing new or noteworthy. Controls are responsive but being able to go in the direction you came from and therefore go over yourself is a fault.

Perhaps you should scour newgrounds for some... Inspiration.

You should know better.

You made a basic implementation of an old game. You should be able to see for yourself where this stands compared to what is currently out in the market.

There's no incentive to play this version of snake as opposed to any other version of snake.

While the controls are smooth, the animation is choppy, and that results in the same experience. And a convention in snake controls, namely that you should not be able to go in the direction you came from and eat yourself, is one that you have not adhered to.

You don't need us to tell you that you need to try harder.

Good job

I think you did a pretty good job making your first game. The snake is a bit choppy in it's movement but there isn't much you can do about that unless you make it a solid object. The large circle objects make it very easy to identify and adjust to get it and make your snake larger. If anything I would of liked to of had options for the snake color and background or a larger area to move.
