A match 4 game based on Lumines with YouTube videos playing in the background!
Use the arrow keys to move the blocks, up key to shift them around, and down key to make them drop.
The game could probably need some more balancing, so any feedback on that will be much appreciated.
There's a few more commands that aren't listed in the game:
Press P to pause the game (and should the video ever stop, try pausing/unpausing to get it started again).
Press R to restart the video in case it gets stuck and pausing and unpausing it doesn't seem to help.
Press N to change song and skin (only works in arcade mode).
You can press space instead of using the down arrow key to make blocks drop, if you prefer.
You can also shift the blocks by pressing Z or X rather than the up arrow key - this way, you can shift them both clockwise and counter-clockwise.
There is also a mouse mode hidden in there - press M to toggle it.
Really good
This is perhaps the only Lumines-inspired flash game I've seen, and I'm happy with this mixup of it, the videos provides just as much difference to the skins as with the games, plus I loved the Doeo skin.
Although there is one thing I noticed, perhaps you could change the rate of falling for blocks based on each skin as with the actual games? It could provide more challenge to certain skins, adding to uniqueness. Other than that, great game.
Laggy
Seems like the video make it lag for me as well like other people have said. Seems lik it'd be a really cool game if that wasn't happening though. See if you can fix it up and stuff and i'll defintely come back to play it :)
thats a pretty fun game i like it =]
its great and a fun a little game, while sometimes it makes you think for a bit to match up the blocks, great for a healthy little brain exercise haha

the videos make it laggy as crap. The keys would skip because of it, making me lose out on high block groups. And the videos you chose are not the best selection, though not that bad.
ok, that's a shame. I was unfortunately not able to test the game on any other machines than my own, and I didn't experience any lag.
