Colony is a Real-Time-Strategy game, where you build bases, accumulate resources, create troops, and command them on the battlefield to destroy the enemy forces. All battles are set up to be 2v2.

This was a very exciting game for me to develop because it is my first attempt at creating something multiplayer (that isn't turn based either!). Some of my major influences were Starcraft and Code Geass.

If you enjoy the music, give David Orr a shout, he developed a system where it builds the music as you go, so that it's not one long predictable loop :D You can also find an extended version of the soundtrack on his NG page: http://www.newgrounds.com /audio/listen/299268

On first mission when it tells you to press enter to type, it just freezes the game for me.

The first five missions were pretty good, in the last mission however, the difficulty absolutely skyrockets for no discernible reason. I'm talking you go from absolutely massacring your opponents to being blown to hell within the first few minutes. It's maddening.

I have just spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out what game this was. I recovered my newgrounds account to leave a positive review on it. Amazing game. Must play. If you havent played, give it a shot.

A game I remember playing way back when it started. It's been a long 7 years. While the game seems to have balance holes (especially with the different government benefits involved), I still come back and mess around on the custom match setting. The music is timeless, the strategy priceless. It'd be a joy to see this revamped and improved.

Guys should play more often.
