Not bad at all, could use some more improvement such as using the credits for upgrades that last forever, or power-ups before you go shoot and all of that stuff.
For those who are saying this is just a side scrolling game and is bad, try playing Bullet Heaven without any upgrades, it'd be the same experience for you.

the only reason i played the first was so i could get the medal. Without them, this game is not worth my time. Just another side scroll shooter that honestly, is one of the worst I have seen on newgrounds. That is of course my own opinion, but it is the truth

Good shoot'em up game feels like the old neo geo ones all the games on the SNK console were great.
