this is an excellant remake of pong, although it does get a little repetitive.

pretty dang good, but some of the matches can seem to drag on a bit, i think you should add some of the powerups from the old arkanoid, might help pick up the pace a bit and make it seem more competitive and less like.... waiting for the ball to be in range again.
yeah, i hate to say it, but there's not really a lot of edge of your seat stuff arkanoid has going for it to begin with and this has slightly less replaced by a CPU opponent, it's not much of a challenge either and a bit slow paced, also, ball spin.
it doesn't seem like you can put a spin on the ball at all in this one, or can you? i wasn't able to figure out how, but it's definetly something that would make this more fun.

good start, keep it up and you'll have a really entertaining game before long hopefully.
