I'm new to action scripting, and this is what I made. You have to shoot the target. Every time you shoot the target, it moves. You have ten seconds to do it, and see how high your score gets.


It doesn't have a preloaded, or sound. I'm somewhat lazy and I somewhat don't know how to put sound in or make a preloader in as3. I haven't searched on newgrounds tho.

im not trying to be an ass but that wasnt anything near what i expected.
i liked the idea and i like shooting games but this was too short and no music no sunds... no fun , try and improve because its a waste for this game to be ruined like this

Not worth it

It was short, had no sound, no effects for firing, no music...I honestly was bummed out. I don't know if this is the end-product, or just the beginning, but unless you work on it I can't give this a good review. There's no sense of accomplishment, and the sporadic movements of the targets weren't all that random, but they did get obnoxious at times. In fact, the first time I tried it, the target appeared where I couldn't shoot it and I had to stare at the screen until the timer counted down. And I'm not speaking about being unable to fire at anything but the wood. I mean all of it was out of my line of sight entirely.

No, this game needs a lot more work before it should come onto Newgrounds, otherwise it's just going to get trashed by everyone else. Sorry mate...

Well, the graphics are pretty bad (i'm not saying anything about your graphics skills, it's just that getting an AK47 picture on google and streching it until we can barely recognise it was a bad idea), the gameplay is okay, the targets appears at weird places, no moving targets, the "Time left" and "Score" values are inverted, the time counter is misplaced in my opinion (place it over the windows), the aiming cross (i forgot the name) is too thin, etc.

You still have work to do, but I'm sure you could end up with something acceptable!
This game is just in a too early state to say more.
