A good start, but hardly advanced
This is a nice introduction to creating jointed character models for animations for beginning users of flash. It takes things beyond the sprite-style movement model with separate frames for different poses, but a more advanced topic might be something more like using bones in CS4.
Also, you might want to look at where your hit area is on your arrow button in the bottom-right. I found that I had to search around with the cursor to find it. Why not just make the whole arrow a MovieClip, and make the whole symbol clickable? Basic understanding of that sort of thing will make your information seem more credible.
