Move your mouse over the changing leaves to freeze the color. If your fail to freeze the colors on the leaves them they will fall off the tree. If your let more then three leaves fall off, the game is over Each leaf color will score you different points. Red = 25 points Orange = 10 points Yellow = 1 point

Simple concept for autumn.

Well, the game doesn't hang completely after 4 leaves drop and you get the Submit Score page (just wait a bit and then the play button comes up.) I'm assuming this is because you wanted the player to actually look at the tree for a bit after finishing--but the MORE GAMES button that pops up right after kind of detracts from the overall effect.

Right now, I can't really enjoy it as I really suck at seeing which leaves are turning colors. Maybe some difficulty modes could be implemented, where easier ones would have the leaves change slower.

I think it would be better if you can actually let the game cycle all of the leaves on the entire tree, rather than the current setting of only letting only a limited number of leaves you can let drop. (You could even have a separate game mode for this). Then again, you'd have to program all of the leaves on the ground that have dropped, so that might be difficult, unless you could get around it by maybe having the leaves getting blown away by the wind.

Good concept, but

The game freezes after 3 leaves are dropped, and the leaves change a little fast.

Needs alot of improving

The game was kind of boring as you only clicked and moved your mouse. Made me think back at the time I started with computers and still had to learn how to handle a mouse. Also after 3 leaves have fallen to the ground the game just stops, it doesnt say game over or you score really obviously.
A small bit of advice might be: put "Score:" before the number to the upper right (as I think thats the score?).
Also at the lower left say something like 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3 as at the moment it just says 1 or 2 (not 3?).

My goal was to have the player create a tree that represented autumn. I wanted the colors to take up most of the attention. That is why thing like score and game over was not added. But I do understand your concern I could have definitely done a better job at organizing the layout.

I have the most orange tree in the world.

It's adorable. It's a nice little game that I enjoyed playing. It's a little quick. I assume that which leaf changes next is random, but they do change rather quick. It's very difficult to get many reds, but I assume that's the point.

I liked it a quite a bit. Nice music and pretty graphics. I might add a few more levels, but other than that, it's really good.

gio-m responds:

The changing leaves is not random. There is a set pattern. I did it this way so the player would have a better chance to add red leaves to there tree.

I am glad that you like the game. With all the positive feedback that i have had. I am thinking of making a sequel with different trees like levels.
