Every year, you had to set up all of those ridiculous fireworks so that other people could sit down and ooohh-ahhh at them for about an hour. And today, your boss fired you because you made his kid cry when you told him not to play with the fireworks. No, today is not an ordinary day at work. Today you are free. Free to finally test the practical applications of the fireworks with which you worked so long , and hard, on the people you hate so much.

needs more

have a shop to buy things. like different fireworks, like shells would be mortars, bottle rockets like missles, those 100 missile things would be scatter rockets, fountains would be like a flamethrower, ect...

Good idea

but it does not work as well as it could have, and it is beyond me how you could get as high a score for this as you did.

Anyway here is what I think is wrong with the game;
1. if one sets the velocity to max one can just shoot straight at the people and kill them instead of shooting in a arch at them
2. they don't flee in terror when children are shot in front of them
3. one can shoot when the screen starts scrolling back, but it will not go to the impact if doing so
4. needs more kinds of firework instead of mortar rounds

i would like to once more point out. this was made in 48 hours.
and the other 2 people actually slept. i stayed, but it wasn't quite enough to get as much done as i wanted.
i'm aware of many of the glitches, but we simply didn't have the time =/
we were working right down to the wire.

But it's quite boring. The intro for the game is good, the story was fun but the game itself was stupid. Just firing fireworks at people and cops? Needs more stuff, like more launchers, more types of fireworks, more people and enemies and a smoothier and graphically-improved gameplay. But the idea is great, good luck on it.

I like where you're going with this.

For being done in 48 hours, this is a pretty cool game. I think there's room for improvement, and I also believe that if you do improve it, you'll have a real winner on your hands.

For example, at the end of each level, maybe make it so you can buy different fireworks, and then you can switch between the type. Each one could look different, and some would do splatter damage whereas others would not. You could start the game with one bottle rocket, and you have to kill one person in the park with it. Then they have to keep building off of that.

As for visuals, I thought it took too long between the fireworks. I loved that you had cops coming after you, but adding splash damage would be amazing because you could kill a group of them off at once. Also, if you backed the camera up more and added more people and maybe a tally of the people in the park and the amount that you've killed so far, it would also improve.

Add a menu and a pause screen, etc.

Like I said, you should DEFINITELY work on this because despite the quality, it's extremely addicting and I would love to play more.
